Guy has it listed as a 572b box but when he sent me pics is when I noticed it had a 3.500 z tube but it's got out of my price range. I don't know why I felt the need to tell you all this but I did.. The Buddy Base receiver schematic that I have shows that receiver as a superhetrodyne with dual conversion and multiple IF stages, so it should be as tight as you will ever find in a CB radio. If yours is acting like a super regen receiver as you crank up the RF gain, you need to look at neutralizing the first RF amp stage because it shouldn't be self oscillating... If your transmitter is different, then your receiver might be different too, and I can send you a link to the schematic if you need it. Dennis #12

The one I have is for the 2E26 version of the transmitter and I need the one for the higher power (6146?) version.
